Echi all'Infinito is the title of the latest creation of Yuval Avital, a work halfway between a musical score and a sound performance, written to literally play the new installation by Michelangelo Pistoletto Abbraccio all'Infinito during the vernissage of “Padre e Figlio”, the exhibition project curated by Alberto Fiz which puts the works of Michelangelo Pistoletto in dialogue with those of his father Ettore Olivero.

In Echi all’infinito, Avital dialogues with the fundamental pillars of Pistoletto’s ethics and aesthetics, taking up in particular the concept of the Art of Demopraxia. The instrumentation of the work is precisely the Abbraccio all'infinito sculpture, composed of numerous metal tubes hanging from a supporting structure that refers to the tripartite symbol of the Third Paradise; in each portion of the installation a performer makes the metal parts of the sculpture resonate like a great musical instrument. The virtuous score conceived by Avital consists of seven categories of definable atypical executive elements, where the interaction between the performers creates a serious interplay of sounds, gestures and mutual listening, which translates the same names of father and son into musical notation and fundamental concepts of Pistoletto's artistic practice: Mirror, Infinity, Invisible, Action, Reflection.

Furthermore, the same symbol of the Third Paradise, graphically varied in five different declinations, becomes itself the supporting element of the score guiding the soloists towards moments of random execution in which Avital leaves the performer great freedom of action.
